China's Great Wall

Li Jing, a fashion Tv host at retirement age

March 21st, 2008 · No Comments

Li Jing got her fame from hosting first celebrity interviews in mainland China probably 10 years ago. Gossips say she gambled all her money on that Television programme, and she was the first female individual producer and host at that time.  I watched lots episodes now and then,  and did not like or hate particularly. No grilling questions, no chanllenging games, interviews sound like coming home, with all those loving cares and flattering comments. I liked to watch when my favorite celebrities were invited.

Internet posts on Tian Ya certainly do not like her performance in  the new programme Pretty Woman, where she was supposed to give advice to younger woman on beauty and fashion. They compared her with Lan Xin Mei, a Taiwan host on same fashion programme, and think she looks far worse in fashion sense. Lack of interesting communicating highlights between all co-hosts, make the programme less tasteful.

Lan Xin Mei, won not a little bit. Her program Queen is more free style, reckless in talking and better at  communicating practical advices. Many people like Lan, because she talks simple, not faking a lady being ladette. She wears bold as well.  There is a picture at the end.
